Once again, sorry, in the meantime it worked out fine, I had to had the patience to wait 5 Minutes after restart as it is said in the advice.....

Sorry, but the link provided in the support area
http://www.readynas.com/contributed/mdgm/files/arm/6.5/sources.zip
does not lead to a zip-file, but to a folder called "etc" with a file named sources.list of 175 Byte.
Can you check that please?

Sorry, I tried this out but it did not work,
by the way, is it correct, that the source.zip file is only 175 Bytes? Or maybe the link on the support page is not correct.

This is fix is no longer necessary.
If someone else runs into issues with these symptoms the cause is probably different.
