Subsonic stops

Sorry if this question is asked already but can't find the solution with the search function here.

Readynas 104 6.4.2 with SubSonic 5.3

My Subsonic stops 1 or 2 times a day.

Looking at the log files Java crashes.

    Hello EdjeDek,

The developer of this app is super_poussin. Perhaps you can try sending him PM.

    Regards,

  • I have a similar problem (Subsonic stops overnight) running Subsonic 5.1 on a ReadyNAS Pro with Raidiator 4.2.28. But I don't know if it's Java or not -- I don't know my way around Linux and do not know how to check the issue. Did you get a resolution for your issue? Perhaps the solution would work for me as well.

    TIA

    David

      Hi David,

Didn't get it working om my Readynas 104. Tried different versions of subsonic without succes, it stops everynight.

Installed subsonic on a raspberry pi, but the same problem it stops (service) every day.

After lot of trial and error I found out that OpenJdk s*cks. Installed Oracle Java 7 on the pi and since then it works flawless.

I can't test installing Oracle Java on my Readynas only have one and can't risk messing up the data.

      Regards,

      evert
