Surveillance Remote Live view runtime error
I have a new laptop for my wife. Running Windows 8.1 and when I run the remote live viewer it comes up with a Visual C++ runtime error. It Says:
Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE. This applicatoin has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Everything else works properly. I have the latest version of Java, I have 2005, 2008, 2010, and 2012 versions of the visual C++ runtimes loaded on the laptop.
Any ideas?

I suspect it has to do with Java ... :twisted: :PSame here. Really? It's been over a year on this thread and it's not resolved? Chrome or IE does not work for me for live viewing or playback. I have the webcomponents installed and everything.
I have been having the same problem for 6 months - and I finally got it to work.
Go to IE in your start menu and right click on it - Run As Administrator!!!! - then it let me in!!!
