    Hi APA-Gordon,

     

    We are sorry to hear you are having difficulty utilizing your available bandwidth.  Certainly, if you back up settings are set to "faster bakup" we would expect a much more effective use of your network.

     

    There are a variety of trouble shooting steps to consider, but we would love to investigate your account prior to having you jump through hoops and make sure you are on the latest available version of the ReadyNAS Vault software.

     

    For account investigation purposes, can you share your account email, either via Private Message here or by opening a ticket with us at support@vault.readynas.com?  This support address goes directly the Vault support team (regular NETGEAR support focuses on hardware issues and would attempt to refer any Vault inquiries our way).

     

    For gather your version info, I wish there was a less complex way, but if you open your ReadyNAS Vault account (https://vault.readynas.com) and visit the Backup Settings --> Manage Device Backups page and hover your mouse over the device in question, the tool tip that appears should report the version of the Vault software you have on board (to be clear, it will report the version that was on board at the time of your most recent connection, but it sounds like you've been connected pretty recently).

     

    We will get this resolved for you as quickly as possible.
