1 UPS, server and NAS together
I have a mixed environment of RN, some on OS4 and some on OS6 some on Server 2008 and some on Server 2012. For the most part, OS4 devices are on Server 2008 and OS6 are on 2012 Boxes. All are running off APC UPS but only the server is communicating with the UPS. Is it possible to have the NAS shutdown with the server? I'm ok with switching it the other way by having the Server take the shut down command from the NAS as well.

The ReadyNAS uses NUT (Network UPS Tools) to monitor the UPS. There are a couple of Windows implementations of NUT. I know it can be a slave to a Linux installatiion, thus should be able to tak to a ReadyNAS with an UPS and set to allow communications with another client. I do not know if the reverse is implemented (it was not when I checked it out, which was quite some time ago). Being a port from Linux, there is no nice GUI, configuration must be performed using .conf files.
