I don't think with hard drives teaming the NICs would do much if anything to improve performance. One would think using SSDs would make some difference to performance but as only running 4.2.x on the 2100 is supported and 4.2.x does not support SSDs there aren't any performance numbers out there to show the difference between using SSDs and HDDs as far as I'm aware.
