4TB for RNDP200U
Hello,
Does anybody have tried 4TB HDD (seagate ST4000DM000 or WD WD40EZRX) with a ready NAS ultra 2+?
Actually I have 2x2TB seagate ST2000DL003 and I'm a little bit out of space!
Thank you
PS : The firmware I use is RAIDiator 4.2.25.

I've tried the WD40EFRX (WD Red) and the ST4000VN000 in my Ultra 2 Plus. I can't recommend the WD drive for reasons described here: https://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=73417. The Seagate, on the other hand, worked fine; it's a better NAS drive than the ST4000DM000 and it only costs a few dollars more. I'm not planning to buy anything but ST4000VN000s in the future. - armia741AspirantWD or Seagate? which one gives more bang to buck?
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe drives are pretty close in performance. Today the Seagate appears to be slightly cheaper in the US. Tomorrow who knows?
