About UPS
I know that on Upon battery-low condition with UPS, the ReadyNAS will power down automatically. When power is applied again, it would turn on automatically? Thanks.

Newer products such as the x86 line (Ultra/Pro) will auto power-on after a power failure.
Not sure about the new Duo/NV+ v2.
When a NAS is connected to a UPS it won't auto power on after a power failure. There is a good explanation of why here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=319084#p319084
