Adding disks
Hello.
I just bought a RN214 and 2*6TB WD red.
My question is if i want to add a disk later on will it swapp from raid 1 to raid 5 without deleting any files?

Hello Ubbe,
The NAS should be configured as XRAID if you are planning to add disks.
Adding to an existing XRAID will automatically expand the volume and also adjust the RAID level. Please see How do I horizontally expand an X-RAID 2 volume on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system? article.
