Adding new 2 TB drives to diskless RND2110
Can I add 2 new WD red 2TB drives to this unit and make it work?

You can install 2 2TB drives, though no larger. WD Red (as currently defined, WD20EFAX for 2TB) is a poor choice for RAID (in spite of WD still labeling them as "NAS" drives) because they are SMR. Red Plus, Red Pro, or Seagate Ironwolf are a better choice. Most smaller desktop drives are also SMR, so should be avoided. If you have some older WD20EFRX (now labeled Red Plus), they'll work fine.
