Netgear Readynas Duo RND2110 V2 factory reset
I purchased a second hand Netgear Readynas Duo v2 off Ebay, I have attempted to factory reset as I do not know the logon details, I get the 2 drive lights to flash on three times in a row then the drive 2 light lights up on its own and the power light starts flashing and it stays like this untill the power cable is pulled from the back as at this point it wont do anything else, any ideas?
The process for doing a reset is different for different platforms, so let's start by confirming the model. The labeling is confusing, and many v1 owners mistakenly believe they have a v2.
A v1
- runs 4.1.x firmware
- has a part number on the back that ends with -100xxx (xxx is either NAS or a country-specific code)
- might have a label on the back that says v2 (the source of the confusion).
A v2
- runs 5.3.x firmware
- has a part number on the back that ends with -200xxx
- says v2 on the front chassis
Let us know which is these models you purchased,

Hi Nastyman79
Welcome to the Community!
If the system is not running or if you prefer you can look at the physical hardware itself. Please see this link.
Once checked you can do the Factory Reset from the Boot menu
Hope this helps!

It apperas to be a V1 so have started a factory reset using the instructions provided and will try to login after that has finished.

Let us know how it goes.
Your v1 is an old device (Netgear stopped manufacturing them in 2011). The max disk size it can handle is 2 TB. Another limitation is that it uses SMB 1.0 - which is being deprecated by Microsoft. You can however still install the client on Windows 10.
