Are the 8Tb discs compatible in the ReadyNas RN10400?
Hello,
Does anyone know if the nas RN10400 support 8Tb disks ?. I currently have 4 of 4Tb.
I have the latest firmware version.
Thanks

Hi JoseYaz
Welcome to the Community!
Yes RN104 supports upto 12TB which is the current max cap for HDDs.
You can check compatible drives here ReadyNAS HCL
Hope this helps!

This is certainly true, but you should also be aware that the RN104 is the slowest OS 6 NAS and it has the least RAM.
Larger disks can take a long time to resync on RN100 series, and some functions (notably antivirus and quotas) won't perform well if the volume size is too large. You might find that you are better off upgrading to a newer model (RN214, RN424, etc).
