I am having a RN102 and is having the same problem, I un-installed a app but it failed, then the local web admin went down.
Unforturnately I don't have SSH enabled, and seems I don't have FTP too (I will enable them if I can get the web working again!). So do you know how can I inject this new firmware into the NAS?
I looked around and finally got a link below but looks like they (Netgear) have the USB recovery tool moved out of the page, my last hope gone...
