You'd need to set up a VPN connection to allow you to access the work NAS from home (and vice versa).
I'd start with ZeroTier - Sandshark uses it, and can give you more details if you need help.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
With Zerotier, does this mean once I have set up the connection from one location to the next that I can just use something like Aomei Backupper on the PC to automate the backup from one NAS to another NAS?

The advantage of ZeroTier in this case is that it allows you to set up both NAS on the ZeroTier network, so they can communicate directly. You would then use the incremental rsync jobs built into OS-6 to back up the desired NAS shares to the other NAS. These can be run automatically on a schedule.
If you can connect a PC to an existing work VPN, then you could use a PC backup program w/o using ZeroTier.

Thanks for the reply StephenB.
Okay, I have set up ZeroTier so that I an see my work computer and my home computer as part of my two networks with full control on each which is cool.
How do I set up ZeroTier on each NAS as that is not at all clear? There is not a built-in app so there must be another way.
