Can you Install Windows 2008
Hi, can you install Windows 2008 on a Ultra4 Ready Nas, replacing the Linux OS. I saw this...hence the question http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDeal ... 22-122-095
No you cannot replace RAIDiator with a 3rd party OS e.g. Windows. Any damage from attempting to do this would void the warranty.
I noticed a ReadyNAS bundled with OEM Windows Server a while back too. I was surprised that Newegg offered such a bundle.
Anyway the NV+ v2 (RND4000-200) is ARM which isn't compatible with Windows.
