Hi chrisqn,
Try the steps below:
1. Create a specific user login under 'Security tab'.
2. Change the default access of the said share from Read/Write to 'Disabled'.
3. Tick write-enabled users and enter your user login then hit apply.

Hi BrianL,
thank you for your help. I tried the steps you posted many times before I posted my question but it never worked. After I got your answer I tried it again an it still did not work. In a different post I read that it could be a problem if network drives are mapped to the ReadyNAS Share so i deleted all my network drives on the computer and voilà it worked. Dont know why network shares should be a problem but it seams to be the solution for my problem.
