cannot get an IP address After 6.5 FW update done remotely
I did an update remotely to FW 6.5 when back on the system network with the NAS notice "Network Changed" "NO IP ADDRESS" I rebooted the machine and it posted FW 6.42 This I believe should have been FW6.5. Saying that, I have no access to do anything. I tried to reset but failed at that (maybe I don't know what keys to press while setting the reset button. I am dead in the water and need some real help. I have had this NAS for a couple of years and had no problems. I am thinking that the firmware is corrupt and s my problem. Any help out there? Is it possible to load firmware from another port on the NAS?

Hello BBuzz,
I think you mentioned you tried to reset. Please make sure you have full backup of the data.
No IP address means it failed to connect to the network. Please check first the cable between the NAS and the switch/router where it is connected. Make sure both ends of the cable are properly plugged. Checked the LED of the port one the switch/router where the NAS is connected. Try also another cable. Use RAIDar to help the computer see if the ReadyNAS is connecting to the network.
