It's unfortunate that you don't recall what it was telling you, as that action must have triggered the problem.
Are you sure it was an "update prompt", and not something else?

Yes, I'm sure it was an update prompt as it appeared to download and install something before it told me that it was rebooting.
I've just posted as image of what RAIDar diagnostics is apparently showing my colleague in the office.

I've attached it to this reply - no apps that I'm aware of beyond any that may have come pre-installed.

These are unusual errors. I am wondering if the OS partition might be full.
Is ssh enabled?
Do you recall what firmware you were running before the update to 6.10.10?
Also, what model NAS is this?
