Case #16884902 (Variable FAN SYS Speed on Power Up. Normal?)
Ok,
It has now bee about one week since my case has been escalated to Level 3 and no word yet from any of the Engineers. My patience is wearing thin!
My PRO 6 is sitting turned off in my office and I am seriously considering cancelling my order for another PRO 6 for our other office.
Can any moderators see into why this is taking so long.

http://support.netgear.com - I have now responded, however, previous to this date Support had communicated that my case was escalated to Level 3.

i have now sent you the latest info from the developers.
no need to worry. this behaviour will be changed in the next release.
until then its completely hamless to use the nas normally. - I'm glad that it's only a firmware problem and that the problem will be corrected in the next release.
