I have just had to change my password (no longer meets requirements, not logged in for a couple of years) and when I came to login it asked me for a username.
It wouldn't allow me to use 937carrera as it was being used "by another user". Well that would be me on the same email account.
Can someone fix this so that all my posts show the original username please
Thanks
OK, got it sorted. The "reactivate your account" link didn't seem to be working properly, so I did a bit of lateral thinking and went through the standard reset password approach, and as you can see, I now have access to my original posting profile.
Now to get the Nas > Nas backup problem resolved (I did read your helpful guide mgdm before starting the job last night, even though my task was much simpler) :smileyhappy:

Oh, OK, my apologies, where's the embarrassed smilie ?
:manembarrassed:
ah, there it is.
I've tried to reactivate the old account, got the email, used the link, but when I enter the new password and click continue nothing happens. Is that because I have declined the mailing list ???
It's the same in Firefox, Lunascape and Avant
I am using the email address as username and trying to set a new password including lower case letter, upper case letter, numeric and character over 8 digits long
