Compatibility between Readynas Units
Dear ReadyNAS team
I own a ReadyNAS NV+ and the powersupply died now for the second time. I was already thinking about a new device because of the slow performance and wanted to ask if it is possible to put my Harddisks in the new device without to have to format them. It is an X-Raid over 4 Disks (3 x 1TB + 1 x 2TB).
What would be the best alternative (Performance and Storage is important)?
Regards
Patrik

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou can migrate the disks to another NV+ (v1 - silver chassis) but not to a newer unit. See http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_migrate_disks_over_from_an_existing_readynas_to_another
