Compatibility Lists?!?!?!
OK, so I understand that it's and older model, and that "any 2tb drive on the compatability list" will work - But the compatability list for the RND4000 is simply NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. 30 Minutes of...

Go here: https://kb.netgear.com/20641/ReadyNAS-Hard-Disk-Compatibility-List
Enter Legacy in the pulldown, and a second pulldown will appear. Then select ReadyNAS NV+, which is another name for the RND4000 v1.
That will give you the list you want. It hasn't been updated for many years (since 2012 I think).
