Constant bay failure after power down

Firmware 6.10.6

Harddrive: 4x Western Digital 3TB Red Plus NAS HDD

RAID 5

Im currently runing a Ready NAS with x4 3TB drives. Everytime I "Shutdown" my ReadyNAS the 4th bay consistantly losses connection and has to resync. If I "Restart" the NAS this does not appear to be an issue. I previously had x4 500GB Seagate Barracuda's and had the same issue. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to stop it?

Thanks

It's not normal.  Maybe try running the disk test from the settings wheel (volume tab).  It will take some hours to finish.

I've just had similar issues to what you are describing in bay 4 and put it down to a disk failure. I've replaced that disk and another with 2x Seagate Ironwolf Pro 8TB and all running well again. So I would think you've got a disk failure.
