Disk configuration - using less disks
Hi there,
Is there any chance to configure the volume using less disks? For instance if i currently have 3 disks, 3 TB each so roughly 15TB. Is there any chance to migrate it to a volume with 3x 10 TB disk. Technically it should be possibly but actually I think there's now way which could be used "easily" right? Actually it would be extremely cool if Readynas would support that in a way, where you don't have to reset & setup the NAS / Volume from scratch.

The web UI doesn't provide a way to shrink the volume (either in number of disks or total size).
It is possible to do this from the linux CLI - Sandshark posted some information on this recently. You might want to upvote his suggestion in the idea exchange. https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Idea-Exchange/Add-ability-to-remove-drives-from-RAID/idi-p/1736142
