Do the older RND4TRAY1-10000S drive trays fit in the new ReadyNAS 312 model

Hi All,

I have been looking around for information on whether or not the OLD RND4TRAY1-10000S version of the NAS drive trays fit in the new ReadyNAS 312 model.  I cannot find the new drive trays anywhere on amazon or ebay.  I have found a few older models.  If anyone has a part number for the new tool less trays that would be very helpful as well.

Thanks

Tom

    Hello Cobra502,

I have tried one on an OS6 chassis and it went through. I wasn't able to screw in a disk to the tray, though. I guess it will be a bit of a challenge getting it in and out of the chassis I still strongly recommend NOT to get an old disk tray. Maybe wait for others too in the community who can share their own experience.
