Drive compatability list is empty for ReadyNAS 104
I am considering purchasing a ReadyNAS 104, but the information on this site says there is no support if you don't pick a drive from the list. When I go to the list, it's blank. I was planning to use ...

I'm not sure if you are having the language problem here or at the HCL site - I have been assuming here. If so, the screen I was directing you to looks like this (in English):

The HCL link ( http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20641/~/readynas-hard-disk-compatibility-list ) doesn't create any popups. There is a pulldown to select the NAS model (and a second pulldown if you select "legacy").
Then a couple of optional pulldowns to let you filter the list.

Is the compatable drive list on a popup? I have popups blocked, although I usually get a warning so I can individually allow them. But even so, I don't see how that set my language to German, unless it's also on a popup, and the default is German.
Whatever. I recognize that companies are doing everything they can to collect data on their customers. I just wish they'd take their customer's security into account. Given the rise in Ransomware and the recently announced scripted capability to install ransomware regardless of the user's operating system, I think you're an idiot if you aren't doing something to see you don't get it too.

Thank you for the picture. I had been trying to go to settings from the community I had these posts in, and it doesn't appear to be available there. Going back to the All Communities level let me get into the settings and fix it.
Now that I can read the site, I see that the drive compatability list comes from another TLD. It may be owned by Netgear, but NoScript blocks automatic references into another TLD, as a security feature against drive by downloads. NoScript generally tells me when it is doing this, and I'm not sure why I didn't get the warning this time.
I would suggest to Netgear that they put in a clickable link as well, to support those people who block third party references. I may be paranoid, but I don't want my browser wandering off to different TLDs without telling me, and without a chance to confirm the TLD is valid. Thanks again.
