Dropbox Bi-Directional Sync not reliable - ReadyNAS RN626X

Hi, I am having trouble establishing reliable bi-directional sync between Dropbox and our ReadyNAS 626X. Firmware 6.10.2.

If the data exists on the NAS, if often won't push ALL of the data to dropbox.  It starts fine, then seems to just stop somewhere mid-process, incomplete, and doesn't start again.

If the data exists in Dropbox, it is pushed to the NAS immediately and completely.

Why doesn't the NAS push the data completely to Dropbox?

I did notice that if I open a folder on the NAS, then that folder gets pushed to Dropbox, but often not the contents unless the contents are also opened.

Thank you for your time!  Please let me know what other info would be useful here.

Stephen

    Hi slprice90,

You can try downloading the NAS system logs then check the dropbox.log. You might be able to find some clues there on why some files on your NAS are not syncing to Dropbox.
