ELC Shared folder not visible on Mac desktop using SMB

Try using the "reset" control on the file access page. That will reset all the files and subfolders to match the configured file permissions.

These needs to be done with file permissions, not network permissions. You do this from the Mac (finder) not from the NAS web ui. In Windows, you'd right-click on the file/folder and set the file permisisons. I'm not a Mac user, so I don't know the equivalent steps there.
