NTGR ReadyNAS is built on open-source as well (Debian Linux, Apache, Samba, ProFTPd, etc). ReadyNAS use their own format on the disks, so previously used disks would have to be wiped, no importing of data. They also require SATA, not PATA/IDE disks.
