They may not be the same then. When this issue has arisen in the past, this was recommended by another member and I kept the link. At one time Yoh-dah had the actual specification drawing of the Infrant/Netgear screw on the forum, but the image hosting site has closed down. I compared the listing from Discount Technology with the original drawing and the only difference I could tell is that the Infrant/Netgear screws are 4MM long and the ones from Discount Technology are 1/4" long. A tad bit longer (6.4 mm) but most drive holes are more than deep enough. It was the flat head that is important.

Open an online case with tech support, start a new discussion in the forum and be sure to add the case number at the end of the subject line. If you don't get a good response from tech support, post the response and hopefully a Jedi will see the discussion that pound on the heads of tech support. I am sorry to have wasted your time and money. I am assuming you "borrowed" a couple of screws from the panel attachment points to get your drive in service.
