Faulty drive Ready NAS 2
Hi
I am having an issue with one of my drives in my readynas. It is a WD 2tb SATA drive. Have tried factory resetting the ReadyNAS multiple times and each time the disk 2 light starts flashing and shows disk fault on Raidar. Have tried formatting the drive on my PC and it seems to be working absolutely fine yet the ReadyNAS still says there is a fault with it. Any suggestions?

Try testing it with WD's Lifeguard software on the PC. Run the full generic read test (and I also recommend the full erase test after that).
What model drive is it?
Also, this is in a RN212?
Hi, it is a RNDU2000
Drive info. WD20EARX
Western Digital 2.0TB SATA/64MB Cache
Will try the WD software
