FEEDBACK ON LONG TERM USE OF READYNAS
I have had my ReadyNas ( V1 so I now discover) for 18months or so and have just today discovered that Netgear (bless their black hearts) have turned off the ReadyNas photos. YES I say turned off ...
It's unfortunate, but Photos I was developed by a 3rd party and reliant on 3rd party servers. It became too expensive.

Unfortunately the newer Photos II could not be ported to Sparc ReadyNAS. That would have been the ideal solution.
