Feedback on ReadyNAS Pro 6 problem

i had the fan out, but failed to get the info at the time because they told me they would simply send me a replacement!
guess ill have to do it again. but my experience with some prior fans is that they use proprietary part numbers, and you cant find the specs. hopefully that isnt the case here.
fyi i build all my own systems as well, except these where it is a business application and i cant afford to screw around with any failures; its worth it to me to have the exchange/warranty on the box if something does go wrong....except the fan of course.
and im still hoping that someone from netgear chimes in on this thread; they have always been helpful in the past with the sw issues i had, but this is my first hw issue on the 3 nas's over almost 5 years.
