Firmware update results in ufsd_sync_volume +60

While updating to newest firmware as prompted by the system, the unit downloaded, rebooted, came back up and was visable to Windows 10, but did not mount my external usb drives or provide access via web after sending logon information.

Tried a reboot, and am now receiving ufsd_sync_volume +60 on the display, and the power button is just blinking with nothing happening.

How can I recover, and why is it that every firmware update requires one to pray that the system does not barf?

Should I pull the power from the R104 before disconnecting the usb drives? How to reboot if the power button does not respond to a press?

It looks like the RN104 has crashed.  So you can just pull the plug, disconnect the USB devices, and then try powering up again.  Alternatively if you hold down the power button, the system should forceably shut down after a few seconds.

You might need to "repair" the USB drives by connecting them to a PC before the system will recognize them again.

I suggest disconnecting your USB drives, and then boot the system again.
