Forgot my readynas password
Hi I forgot my admin password and forgot the reset options security question answer on my device. I dont want to loose my data but need to reset my password.
Need urgent help please

You do an OS-reinstall from the boot menu. That's described on pages 14-15 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RN2120/ReadyNAS_OS6_Rackmount_HWM_EN.pdf
The reinstall will reset the network configuration to use DHCP. If you have quotas enabled on the NAS, it will also disable them. The password is reset to password. Data should not be lost.
Be careful not to do a factory default - that is destructive.
