It was a dog to get going there was some glue type garbage between the SODIMM and the socket which gave me "corrupt root" it required a firmware update and many resets and finally..... It worked ! ...

My Duo is not exposed to the net, so on your advice I will enable ssh, & hope that I never have to use it to recover from a lost Frontview.
