Hard Disk Issues
Hi All, I could really use some helpful advice, and would appreciate any feedback I've got a Readynas Ultra 6 Plus. Currently I've got it populated with 6x Seagate ST2000DL003 Barracuda Green...

Frankly, I have contacted support on two occasions and on one they attempted to deny support even though my drive model was supported. They refused to believe my NV+ v2 was a NV+ v2 (going as far to say the wrong model was placed in the box)... since it wasn't stamped v2 on the back. Never mind the NV+ v2 logo on the front along with other provable evidence. Once I sort of got past that by going up the line the end result was "No, I can't analyze or determine why you are having an issue" They offered let's see if it happens again... quite the support and if it did it again "I wouldn't be able to analyze why."
The second wasn't any better so unless I'm missing some thing I can't see losing support as an actual lose. I documented my main issue in another thread so I won't repeat myself here but I really think the compatible hard drive list needs to be addressed. Also, as I mentioned in another post my model lists 21 drives and if swapping drives doesn't resolve my issues the competitor I'll be swapping for lists well over 150 drives. Hopefully, they aren't removed from the list after you purchased them too. :)
