The 5 bay note is WD's not Netgear's. Five bay offerings are more plentiful than 6, even 8 bay offerings are more plentiful than 6. From what I found only Netgear, Buffalo and QNAP offer 6 bay NAS units. The other 6 bay units are one row of 6 drives in a row, rather than the two rows of three found in Netgears offering.
