You looked at the wrong sticker. There should be other stickers showing the model number which could be e.g. RR2304, RN2120, RN3130, RN3138 etc.
Based on googling, I think it's an RR2304. Information on the disk tray is on page 79 here: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RN2120/ReadyNAS_OS6_Rackmount_HWM_EN.pdf

There should have been screws supplied with the NAS - do you have them?

Not sure what you mean, as the drive is screwed into the caddy. It should latch when you insert it into the NAS and close the front piece.

this is retarded, okay? there is no way at all what soever to secure the hardrive into the unit. that is a design flaw. what are you missing? what am i missing? are you really tell me i can not get any further help until i provide this magically model number? seriously?

there is a caddy. then there is a hdd. i put the two togther how do is ecure them? there is no option. i put the two not secured together pieces into the unit, pull it out i will get the caddy, not the caddy and the hardrive. the hardrive is stuck in the unit. and no way to get it out.
have you not used these readynas systems? if so then why are you answering?- mdgmApr 29, 2021VirtuosoI have two rackmount units currently, a RN2120 and a RN3130.
The drive tray screws come with the NAS. Did you buy the NAS new or second hand?
