I dont get it. seriously, i do not get it. getting support from netgear is ridiculous. i call and i just get transferred and transferred and apprently according to the agent and according to this web...
There are small drive tray screws that would have come with your unit (needed for e.g. using a 2.5" SSD). You may only be able to secure the disk with two screws and you'd need the toolless tray insert to be removed when doing this. It should definitely fit.
The model may actually be on the bottom of the unit. I only have a few rackmount units and rarely look at them, but the model number would be there somewhere. In any case it's much easier to look the model up in the web admin interface or in RAIDar.
