HOW DO I DISABLE THE ANTI VIRUS ON THE MODEL RN10400

this is the problem this thing just keep scanning all the time...

How do i stop it...

can use it to slow ...because of the scanning.

    What firmware are you running?   Netgear removed the AntiVirus package for the RN100 series quite a while ago because of performance issues.

     

    You turn it off in System->Settings->Services in the Web Admin UI.

      Did a factory reset..

      Seems to be working..

      Ver: 6.10.7

    If you have an older firmware than 6.10.0 you can disable/enable AV, you can check this KB. Latest FW removed Anti Virus For 100 Series (RN102 / RN104).
