My printer is supposedly compatible with the readynas - it appears on the compatibility list on the netgear site anyway. however it just doesn't print, the nas recognises the printer but it just hold...

I have had the printer as a local on one machine (windows7) before, then i installed it as a network printer, it would send to the nad print queue from that (I can see it in frontview) - On a new laptop the printer has never been connected, so i installed it fresh on that as a network printer, again same result, can see it fine and send to the queue but no output. On my old laptop running xp it has it installed as a network printer and exactly the same problem.
