I am looking for a list of NAS that run os6
I am looking for a list of NAS that run os6. I have googled at length and not been able to find this. Looking to run BTSync on the NAS. As far as I can tell netgear are more or less unique on this...

The simple answer is that all the ReadyNAS products on netgear.com (other than the support pages) run OS6.
Desktop models are the RN100, RN200, RN300, RN500 and RN700 series. There are rackmount products also - let us know if those are relevant to you.

Thanks. I was looking to buy a used one. I have a buffalo which works fine, but I want to use the btsync. Not looking to weigh out hundreds of pounds to keep my collection of files synced to the nas!

There is no warranty and no support available if you buy used. Just something to keep in mind.

Thanks. But where can I find the list of the ones I actually want to buy?!
Besides, one would assume the warranty and support would transfer if the product is still within the warranty period.

All Ultra and Pro models will run OS6. The NV, NV+ (V1 or V2), Duo (V1 or V2), and NVX will not. Running OS6 is not officially supported, so nothing is to say that some upgrade won't simply stop working right. If you have no existing NAS's with which to maintain compatibility, the newer models (which are also available used) are probbaly a better choice.

That is a good point, esp. if you are planning to buy used. There are no warranty/support implications, since Netgear simply won't provide software support for used systems, and the warranty doesn't transfer.
I agree that a used RN300 or RN500 would be safer. So far developers have kindly fixed OS6 platform bugs for ultra/pro during beta. But there is no guarantee that will continue. The older models should be cheaper though.
