I hardware reset my ReadyNAS RN212, and now I cannot install ANY apps! HELP!

My main NAS server is an RN214, which has Plex installed. My RN212 is a backup server, which also had Plex installed. Both are firmware patched to v6.10.8 I recently decided to do a hardware reset when I was installing a new Ironwolf 16TB drive. I went through the reset process and got my  RN212 back up and running (I'm currently backing up my data from the 214 to the 212). Next I tried to re-install Plex (for RN2XX) from the available apps in the Apps section. Shortly after I started the installation I got a message "Cannot install application...), no other explanation. I have since tried installing over a dozen applications from the available apps menu, and I've received the same message for ALL of them. Any ideas? Am I missing something?

My own approach is to run Plex on an always-on PC.  Media is on the NAS, and mapped to a drive letter on the PC.

Though more expensive, you get better performance from Plex (assuming a reasonably new PC).  Separating applications from storage also makes it easier to upgrade either the application server or the NAS later on (or switch vendors).

FWIW, even if you get past the install problem now, it is IMO likely that at some point in the future Plex will stop working with Debian Jessie.
