Intermittent failure of NAS
so i had this nas for a while, no problems.
booted up about a year ago, and nas would not locate my HDD's... as far as the nas was concerned, there were no hdd's installed. was going to send back to netgear for help resolving this issue.
when i contacted techsupport, they had me download the logs. what is weird is now the nas sees the hdd's and everything seems fine.
as this is my backup vault, any suggestions on how to verify the condition of the nas, as i dont want this issue to happen again... seems like the HDDs passed the consistancy test, but dont think this is what caused the original issue. Guessing it was something in the NAS unit itself...
any thoughts appreciated, thanks

How often do you boot up the NAS?
When was the last time you saw this problem?
