Is there a way to determine which drive goes in which slot?
I am wondering if there is a way, such as looking at the drive on a PC, to determine which slot the drive goes in? The situation is that I had a RNX6 where the 4 drives were removed to fix somethin...
Not sure about the x6, but ReadyNAS running current firmware should be able to boot up with any drive in any slot.
Though I agree that labeling disks is the best approach.
