Just added a new HD...
I just upgraded one of my 1TB disks with a new 3TB one, and my Pro went through the motions of syncing, and have now successfully completed the upgrade.
However, every couple of seconds or so I can hear one of the drives make a small read or write operation. Not a prolonged one, but just a tenth of a second, and then it stops, only to happen again in a few seconds. It indicates to me there is a problem with one of the disks. But, what do I know...
I have added a Hitachi Ultrastar 3TB disk, replacing a Samsung Spinpoint 1TB.

- Marto731AspirantBob,
On Frontview, >> Volume>> how do disks look. Are you using X-Raid, or how are disks structured?
You could Download logs later, and look at Status-old, to see if new disk was added to Volume,
or look at Disk-Smart to check for disk errors.
Rgds Marto - KillerBobAspirantThe configuration is "RAID Level X-RAID2, 6 disks", and the status is "Redundant". The new disk is added to the volume, and there are no errors in the SMART+ info for any of the disks.
It "feels" like it is syncing very slowly, but the resync was over this afternoon, and all is fine... Still sounds like there are constant read/writes though...
