  • Hi DomDellino,

It is normal that you will be directed to the NAS local admin page when you do that procedure. If you want invite users to access the folders through Readycloud, you may go to the HOME tab. You can hover the mouse pointer over the share folder and then click the blue icon with a + sign. You will have two options of "Share as Link" and "Full Folder Access", You may also visit this link for the procedure.

    Hi DomDellino,

    Welcome to the Community!

Where do you see that option before? Is that on the ReadyNAS local admin page or on the Readycloud portal (https://readycloud.netgear.com)?

On the Readycloud portal, there is an option "Share as Link" there when you try inviting a user to access a share folder.

      Hi John,

I think you;re on to something here, but when I DO access the server from "(https://readycloud.netgear.com)" , DISCOVER, then MANAGE my device, I am always re-routed to my ADMIN page (192.168.1.9/admin). Always with the same result.

I am also beginning to wonder if the problem isn't related to my various logins.

Any other suggestions for hoe I could diagnose this problem further?

      thanks,

        Hi JohnCM_S,

As I suspected, my issue was a login problem. I discovered that I already HAD created a NETGEAR Login, but i was still using my ReadyNas login.

Once I tried the NETGEAR Login, i could see the "Create Web Link" drop-down meniu item on Subfolders.

        Thanks for your tenacity!

        I consider my problem resolved.

        Cheers,

        -dom
