LMS for OS6

Thanks to super-poussin for producing an LMS installer for OS^, and thanks to vandermerwe to resolving the Apple Lossless issue (although I have a Squeezebox Radio and so would not have been affected).

I would like to suggest to super-poussin that a note be put somewhere in the text of the entry in the genie appstore to indicate which version of LMS is being used. I believe at the moment it will be 7.8 but it will be useful to know what version it is when one goes and gets any future updates.

For those like me who have multiple LMS servers if you have mixed versions it causes your Squeezebox to reload the different versions firmware. If they are the same version you avoid this unpleasantness.

Also am I right in believing that 7.7.2 was the last official version of LMS, and that 7.8 is still in beta and is a 'community' update of LMS since Logitech have discontinued their own development of it?

as soon as 7.8.x goes out of beta cycle I will make a new addons which will be using 7.8.x as version

Will this ever happen? Since the product is obsolete I doubt we will se a final version of 7.8.

jelockwood, I cannot take credit for solving the Apple lossless files issue I'm afraid. It seems to me it's still unresolved and the OP of this issue figured out the problem but hasn't been offered a solution.

I have a problem when installing LMS from list of Available Apps or genie+ Marketplace section of my Readynas 314.
After installing Logitec Media Server, I see a window with an error message : Application '{AppName}' cannot be installed.
How to solve this problem?

New LMS core version (7.7.3) will be uploaded to the community share :)
