Loos of ReadyNAS 104 from Network - No Longer respnds to DHCP Address on reboot
My ReadyNAS 104 has suddenly been lost from my home network. It is now showing a completely 'foreign' IP Address and a reboot has not caused it to rspond to a DCHHCP address provided from the router. How can I acccess the ReadyNas to check/change Lan Setup?

Hi AFlesher,
You can try doing an OS re-install. This will set the network settings, as well as the local admin password, of the NAS to default. Please check if the RN104 will then get the correct address from your router after the OS re-install. You may check this article for the steps on how to access the boot menu and select the OS re-install on your RN104.

HI Thank you for your hep.
I managed to identify that the RayNas104 was working correctly and the probelm was that either my network switch had pacekd up OR the main carrier system between study and router had dropped out leaving the ReadyNas without a valid network conenction.
I've rebuilt the network hardware and everything has been restored to normal working.
